I was first fascinated by this phenomenon in my graduate student days. In 1990’s. together with several young mathematicians, we initiated a study of the class number relations over function fields in positive characteristic. This is still a wide open field today, as interplays of higher dimensional geometry and automorphic forms continue shedding lights. <\/p>\n
Time : 13:30 p.m., November 6, 2020 <\/p>\n
Place : M104, Math.
